These Terms govern your use of Sojourn (the "Service"), operated by Sojourn, a company established in Switzerland at Hammerstrasse 103, 8032 Zurich, Switzerland. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Sojourn helps you record the nights you spend in different countries and regions, track worked days, collect supporting proofs, and generate indicative reports to help you monitor your tax-residence situation. The Service is currently offered as a private beta and may change, break, or be interrupted.
Not tax, legal or financial advice. Sojourn is an informational tool. Its counts, projections, colours and reports are indicative only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and do not constitute tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. Residence and tax rules vary by country and change over time. You remain solely responsible for your declarations and decisions, and you should consult a qualified professional before relying on any figure from the Service.
You must be at least 18 (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including your local tax and reporting obligations. Access may require an invitation during the beta. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Nightly location tracking and inbox auto-detection are optional and off until you enable them. By enabling them you authorise Sojourn to record your nightly location (including in the background) and to read the travel and lodging senders you allow, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disable either feature at any time.
You keep all rights to the data and proofs you provide. You grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any proof or document.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. As a beta, it may contain errors and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, secure or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for any tax, penalty, interest, loss or decision arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service.
We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will post the updated Terms here and update the date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following also applies. These Terms are concluded between you and Sojourn only — not with Apple Inc.
